Metal Cover

The Metal Cover is the complete metallic waterproofing element designed by GMP Prefabbricati S.p.A. for its own roofing elements. It is undoubtedly the feature that distinguishes the company as a main point of reference within the sector. Our goal was to research high quality solutions for the creation of a reliable and long-lasting waterproofing element, as well as to eliminate the problems associated with special maintenance.
Our internal technical staff was first required to design the mechanical surfaces, developing all the details in relation to the hardware, the overlaps, the forms of the sheet metal, the underlying elements and the insulation, as well as to research all the most reliable and compatible materials.
The true difference can be seen in the result: it is the concrete that must adapt to the shape of the covering surface. For this reason, the design of the prefabricated structures, as well as certain other elements, is also performed according to strict criteria, based on the type of waterproofing selected. In recent years, all of the roofing systems and accessories have been developed in order to provide our customers with a unique product.
The materials employed include pre-varnished and galvanized steel, stainless steel and natural aluminium, the latter playing a decisively predominant role with respect to the other metals.
